Nice
Nicolo Paginini? Isn't that one of Yngwie Malmsteen's main influences also? Well like Yngwie, nice sweeping technique. Well I haven't read the reviews, but I guess you probably have already gotten a lot of mention of the name. If you haven't heard of Yngwie (however unlikely that is) you should check him out.
Very good
I have a few things I would have liked to hear in the song but I don't feel their absence should cause me to give a lower rating, I'm going to try to be useful and offer constructive criticism, hopefully some of it is helpful. First though things I loved, the opening riff was pretty sweet, I also thought the lyrics where very well done, and overall nothing was there that i thought shouldn't be there. Some things that would be nice to have though: Number one for me, this is very much an opinion thing since I am a guitar player but I really felt a guitar solo was missing, if you have them on a lot of your other songs (i haven't heard them) you might not need it on every track you have, but to me a killer solo is what sets a good song apart from an amazing one. Two also from being a guitar player I think adding some more pinch harmoics couldn't hurt (I think you had them in the opening riff but my speakers are not so great). Three, I feel like you could put put "disposable breed" instead of "the disposable breed" because the word "the" always sounds a little awkward in the melody to my ear. That's basically all I have to say other than if you ever get the oppurtunity to add a real drummer then it would be a good plan, but I'm sure you know that, and good drummers don't grow on trees so probably didn't need to mention that. Anyway I really like what you have, so keep up the good work. Peace.
This is Sweet
so sweet in fact all i have thought of for the past ten months is how much fun it would be to solo over this song. I love to have this song on and just shred over the parts without the main melody. Not that it sounds like it is missing a solo or somthing, it sounds pretty perfect as is. But if you are ever thinking you want a solo, you have someone who would gladly record one for you. :)
Nice riff
The backround riff is cool, to me it feels like there are a couple of wrong notes in the melody line.
yeah there are some mistakes of you liked the riff
the riff is made by buckethead not by me
the song he uses this riff in is the way to heaven!
I like what's here
I think it starts really cool, but then starts to a little overly repetative, but I like the ending part were it builds to.
Aye, the repetiveness is because it may be used for a film, so I didn't want the music to distract from the movie. Thanks though! Glad you enjoyed it :D
Cool
It's very cool, and I like it, I wouldn't mind hearing a little shredding from the guitar, but thats just me.
Good
This qualifies as power metal by definition but it doesn't really remind me of any of the power metal bands I listen too, is this based on the style of a certain band? Any way nice solo and a good song.
thnx 4 the review!
Nope, i think its more of my own style. I wasnt trying to be similar to some band. But i think it tuned out a little bit of what "Kamelot" normaly do.
Good Groove
This sounds a little like Axel F from Beverly Hills Cop (which to me is a good thing). A little repetive though, so maybe you should try putting a little more variation.
